Glytone Acne Facials

Acne (acne vulgaris) is a skin disorder characterized by whiteheads (closed comedones), blackheads (open comedones) and pimples (papules and pustules).
Our Glytone medicated Acne facials are composed of a ten step process designed to help treat and diagnose your acne and can only be done by an esthetician under the direction of a physician.
We start by cleansing the skin using the Clarisonic Pro cleansing brush with a customized acne cleanser. Following the cleansing, we analyze the skin. Then, the skin is massaged with a 10% glycolic peel gel, steamed, gentle extractions are performed then a customized acne mask is applied. A toner with 2% salicylic acid is next followed by a massage with an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant serum. A spot treatment with 10% benzoyl peroxide and application of a deep moisturizing SPF containing UVA and UVB conclude the facial.

Glytone Rejuvenating Glycolic Acid Peels
If you want younger-looking skin, then the Glytone Glycolic Chemical peels may be for you. These treatments are designed to reduce the signs of aging and help even out the skin’s pigment and texture.
This clinical approach to chemical peels is designed to increase the glycolic acid by 10% (concentration from 30% to 70%) with every treatment which exfoliates the stratum corneum (outermost layer of the epidermis) and stimulates collagen and elastin production.
We start the treatment by cleansing the skin using the Clarisonic Pro cleansing brush with a 4.7% glycolic cleanser. Next we pre-treat the skin with a combination of glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids. The Glytone glycolic peel is then applied and remains on the skin from one to ten minutes depending on skin tolerance. You may experience mild stinging or itching at this time. When we reach the time of reaction, the post-peel neutralizer is generously applied and a medicated foam and thermal spring water cool gel are massaged onto the treated area. The treatment concludes with a post-treatment lipid restoring cream containing camelina oil with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to assist in barrier repair, followed by a sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection.
One of the greatest benefits of the Glytone glycolic peels is there is little to no down time. We recommend beginning with six treatments spaced every two to three weeks for best results.
